I now want to explain how we propose to model the organisational factors relevant to SPADs and build a bayesian net model of SPADs.
The first step is to identify the actors – what are there responsibilities and how do they interact. This idea comes from Rasmussen’s accimap.
For example, there are responsibilities for driver management – operations – and for driver training. The driver himself reads the signals and these are part of the route.
At this stage, the roles and interactions between them are identified and described. This is the first step to identifying the organisational factors influencing the occurrence of SPADs.
