I will start by introducing the events known as SPADs – a train passing a signal at danger.
Then I want to mention organisational accidents and introduce Bayesian networks.
The aim and main part of this talk is to describe how we can use bayesian networks to model accidents taking the organisational factors that contribute to accidents into account .
