Bio

I received my degree (4 years full-time) in physics from the University of Patras, Hellas 2002. I continued on acquiring an MSc (2 years full-time) in electronics from the Physics Department, University of Patras, Hellas 2005. Since 2007 I am a research student at the Electronic Engineering department of Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom. I have served as Local arrangements chair for the IEEE International Conference on Advanced Video and Signal based Surveillance (AVSS 2007) and as Webmaster for the Third ACM/IEEE International Conference on Distributed Smart Cameras (ICDSC 2009). My thesis supervisor is Dr. Andrea Cavallaro. My research interests are dimensionality reduction and applications, graph theory, image and video segmentation.
