I am a lecturer at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Queen Mary, University of London, UK. I obtained my PhD from University of Bath after spending a year at Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge. Upon the completion of my PhD in 2008, I worked at the Department of Computer Science, University of Bath as a research and teaching fellow, before joining Queen Mary in Oct 2011. My first encounter with Queen Mary was however much earlier.
I research into multimedia technology in general, but am particularly interested in the convergence of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics and their integration into Multimedia Sensor Networks (MSN).
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
