Yue Chen is a Professor of Telecommunications Engineering and Director of Scholarship at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). She received her BEng in Radio Engineering and MEng in Optical Communications from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), Beijing, China, in 1997 and 2000, respectively. She received her PhD in Telecommunications from QMUL, London, UK, in 2003 and MBA degree from Open University, UK, in 2013.
Yue Chen is a Senior Member of IEEE and holds a Fellowship with Advance-HE. Her current research interests span across education and technical fields, including Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), Quality Assurance (QA) in HE, Educational Leadership, and Wireless Communications, Mobile Edge Computing, Smart Grid and Internet of things.
