• the Probability and Matrices module for first year students (since 2007-08)
• lectures for Special Topics in Information Retrieval, for the Advanced Masters in Computer Science (since 2004-05)
• senior tutor for undergraduate students (since Sept. 2009).

• delivering the C++ part in C++ for Image Processing(2005-08)
• delivering the Object Oriented Programming module (2004-07)
• designing, organising and delivering the Computer Science Project support lectures,and also co-ordinating BSc & MSci 3rd and 4th year projects (2004-2007)
• organising a training programme for the department's PhD students (2004-2006)
• organising and delivering the Professional Skills Programme (PSP) (2006-07)
• delivering the Information Retrieval module for the Open and Distance Learning Unit (2005-06)
• delivering the Database Systems module for the Open and Distance Learning Unit (2003-04, 2004-05)

• Yihan Tao, started her PhD in Septmeber 2011 and is currently reading on collaborative information seeking & retrieval.
• Nuzhah Gooda Sahib started her PhD in October 2009. She is working on supporting information seeking for visually impaired searchers.
• Abdi Diriye started his PhD in October 2007 (with Ann Blandford at UCL)

• Zoltan Szlavik (PhD on summarisation methods for structured documents, passed his PhD viva in September 2008), currently doing his postdoc in Data Mining and Machine Learning at the VU University, Amsterdam
• Frederik Forst (PhD on probabilistic logic for summarisation models, passed his PhD viva in June 2009), currently works in Project Management with Commerzbank in Germany.
