ResearchMy research interests are in the fields of music informatics (music information retrieval), computer music, music signal processing, digital audio, artificial intelligence and cognitive science. In recent years I have been working on various problems related to extracting musical content from audio signals, with a focus on rhythm and harmony. For example, I have worked on beat tracking, audio alignment, chord and note transcription, classification and performance visualisation. My projects, research staff and research students are listed on my home page |
