I am a Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Queen Mary, University of London, working on the HUM (HUman error Modelling) project.

Previously I was a member of the Programming Methodology Group and the Distributed Systems Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at Åbo Akademi University and Turku Centre for Computer Science, where I also obtained my PhD on rigorous development of concurrent systems.

Research interests:

• formal user models, human error verification;


• formal system specification and refinement, refinement calculus, contracts;


• concurrent systems, action systems;


• theorem proving, model checking, program refinement tools.
