I am a PhD student in the vision laboratory, under the supervision of Dr. Lourdes Agapito.

My current interests are in deformable 3D structure from motion algorithms.
My research is focusing on the problem of recovering information about the motion of the subjects (people, objects..) taken by a camera, and the motion of the camera itself. This problem gets more complicated when the subject in a scene is not a rigid body but performs some deformation (e.g. a beating heart). The project is in the field of Computer Vision, about recovering non-rigid 3D shape from image streams, with study on methods of tracking and modeling non rigid objects.
We're also studying 3D recovery of articulated structures, where the goal is to detect the type of joint between two object performing articulated motion, the position of the joint and the 3D structure of the objects.
