Marco Paladini Home Page

Welcome

[marco]You've reached Marco Paladini's home page at Queen Mary University of London. I am a recent PhD graduate from the vision laboratory, under the supervision of Dr. Lourdes Agapito.
My research work deals with building 3D models of deformable and articulated objects from video.

News

[April 2013] Bug fix release of Metric Projection code Fixed a few known issues with our Matlab release of the Metric Projection algorithm for deformable and articulated 3D reconstrucion.
Dowload link: metric_projection_r2013.zip This code requires the CVX matlab toolbox. Please check out our IJCV paper if you use this code. Testing and feedback welcome.

[April 2013] Citation page My profile on Google Scholar has been updated, it automatically keeps track of our citations. Marco Paladini on Google Scholar.

[September 2012] BMVA Sullivan Prize My PhD Thesis "Deformable and Articulated 3D Reconstruction from Monocular Video Sequences" has been awarded the 2011 BMVA Sullivan Prize during the 2012 BMVC conference. The Sullivan prize is awarded each year by the British Machine Vision Association to the best doctoral thesis submitted to a UK University, in the field of Computer Vision.

[26/07/2011] Code release: our ECCV 2010 method for sequential non-rigid structure from motion has been released.
Download it from the Sequential NRSFM page.

We recently presented our papers at ECCV 2010 in Crete, Greece.
