Stepney Green tube is on the District Line (usually pictured in green)
on the London Underground. It's also on the Hammersmith and City line.
Mile End tube station is on District and Central lines.

Directions to QMW CS Dept, from Stepney Green tube.

Go out of the tube station and turn left along mile end road.
You immediately cross one street (globe road I think).
Before you cross a second street you encounter QMW buildings on the left.
There is a small entrance through a fence, with the Mathematical
Sciences building on your left. You continue straight on,
past the Informatics Teaching Lab on your left, until you hit
Computer Science. It is accessed by a big staircase, enclosed but
jutting out from the building. On the fourth floor you find
Peter in room 432.
The 4th floor is locked. You either hang around
and follow someone through the door, or go to the main office
on the 3rd floor and ask to have one of us rung:
