coverage of the conflict

I added the copy of our mail to the students and editor as well
This month's 'Cub' magazine featured an article (p. 12) 'what happened in Lebanon?' about, obviously, what happened in Lebanon.
Told from the point of view of a lebanese sudent at QM, it said
stuff like 'Israel attacks people at night', ;I think israel has been
plannign to attack for a long time. the war showed te true faces of
everyone. this time it showed israel as a tyrant and a murderer....they're cowards.they are in the wrong. israel is a tyrant politically but even though we lost so much,
Israel lost and this was the first time Israel retreated.'
Therefore, I sent this email to Cub magazine's editor, Alex Hudson:
I write regarding the article entitled 'What Happened in Lebanon' in this month's 'Cub'.
We at the QM Jewish Society found it to be offensive, biased and
insensitive. We would therefore like the chance to appear in 'Cub' with
an article told from an Israeli student's point of view. We believe
this would add balance to the situation, emphasising the double-sided
nature of the conflict.
I think it would be great if all of us sent similar emails, showing that this kind of blatant bias etc won;t be tolerated.
If you do support Jews at QM, and Jews in general, please please send an email to Alex, and copy in qmuljsoc too.
