Lokesh Gupta, which has plenty of other useful information on aspects of Java programming as well.
- Here is another site with Java interview questions, and other useful information such as a list of recommended books.
- Here is a site where, as it says, “the goal of this site is to help programmers successfully prepare for technical interviews”. It contains discussion
many questions on basic and more advanced aspects of programming, with sections on Java, data structures, design patterns as well as other topics.
- Here is a YouTube site where the author of a best-selling book on the coding interview, Gayle McDowell,
describes what is meant by “coding interview”. As she says, it is about writing code by hand and showing you have a deep understanding of it.
- Here Parker Finney gives some practical advice on getting through the coding interview, some of which is also very relevant
to solving coding questions in tests and exams.
- Here John Sonmez, author of a book on
important soft skills for software developers, gives his advice for coding interviews.
- Here Javin Paul gives “Top 10 Java Programming Coding Interview Questions Answers for programmers”,
and states how important it is to be able to answer such questions if you want to get a job as a Java programmer.

Atwood is one of the most respected programming bloggers, writing under the name Coding Horror. His writings have been influential in encouraging employers
to use simple coding problems as a first test of potential employees.
