Ph.D Candidate, SketchX Research Lab
My recent research interest shifted to generative models for human sketch understanding and generation, especially on how such understanding can be transferred into commercial applications.
I am a second year Ph.D candidate at SketchX Research Lab , Queen Mary University of London. My supervisors are Dr. Yi-Zhe Song and Prof. Tao Xiang. Before that, I received the first-class B.S. degree from the Sino-UK Joint Programme held between Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Queen Mary University of London in July 2016. I'm honoured to deliver the valedictory speech to the class of 2016.

|Here is my cat, "Xiao Hei", the gorgeous and lovely angel. I met her in October 2016, when she was sort of stray at the time and happened to come into my house to seek some food. It's such a blessing to be accompanied by this little creature since then, and shared together so many unforgettable, touching and delightful moments throughout the tough Ph.D journey. Xiao Hei: Million years later, may the happiness is my only memory of you (但欢笑永存你我心间). Hope you can find the same. Lots of Love, Yours Kaiyue|
