Dr James Kelly is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Microwave Antennas within the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and a member of the WMC lab.. He joined QMUL in September 2018.
Dr Kelly has published almost 100 academic papers in peer reviewed international journals and conference proceedings (h-index: 17, >1000 citations). He has also 3 filed patents for antenna technology (1 patent and 2 patents pending). His research focuses on reconfigurable antennas.
Dr Kelly received the Master's degree in electronic and electrical engineering (2002) and the Ph.D. degree in microwave filters (2007) from Loughborough University, Leicestershire, England.
