I am a postdoctoral research assistant in the group of Dr Sergio Ioppolo, in School of EECS at Queen Mary University of London, UK. I am currently working on laboratory study on formation and evolution of prebiotic molecules in the universe by performing complementary novel laboratory experiments at larger facilities, including the free-electron laser FELIX Laboratory (an EPSRC National Research Facility) at the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands, ASTRID at Aarhus University in Denmark, etc.

Prior to my current project, I worked in the group of Prof. Xiaodong Chen, on high-power THz sources using vacuum electron devices (VEDs) driven by pseudospark-sourced electron beams, funded by Engineering Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC) UK, under Grant "SHeet Electron beam vacuum electronic Devices for the Generation of High power THz radiation (SHED_LIGHT_THz)".

My research interests are THz sources, including backward-wave oscillator (BWO),extended interaction klystron oscillator (EIKO), etc., as well as TWT amplifiers, e.g., travelling wave tube (TWT), and their applications in high-data-rate communications, radar, medical imaging, etc.
