SensingKit: A Multi-Platform Mobile Sensing Framework for Large-Scale Experiments”, will be presented at ACM MobiCom 2014, Maui, Hawaii, September 2014.

Our article on Quantified Self and the Privacy Challenge in Wearables has been featured on Society for Computers and Law Technology Law Futures Forum.

Our paper “Topic and Sentiment Analysis on OSNs: a Case Study of Advertising Strategies on Twitter”, with Shana Dacres and Matthew Purver, will appear at The Sixth ASE International Conference on Social Computing, SOCIALCOM 2014, Stanford, CA, USA, May 27 - May 31, 2014.

We have been awarded an EPSRC IoT research-in-the-wild grant on Connected Seeds and Sensors with Nicholas Bryan-Kinns.

Our paper “The Rise of Panopticons: Examining Region-Specific Third-Party Web Tracking”, with Marjan Falahrastegar, Steve Uhlig, and Richard Mortier, has been accepted to appear in Sixth Workshop on Traffic Monitoring and Analysis (TMA), London, UK, April 2014. (30% acceptance)
