I am an RAEng/EPSRC Research Fellow in the Centre for Digital Music at Queen Mary University of London.

My focus is on synchronisation of computers within music performance incorporating work such as beat tracking and real-time music analysis. I have completed a PhD in this area starting with the problem of drum tracking which resulted in the B-Keeper system which controls the tempo of a music sequencer, Ableton Live, to stay in time with a drummer.

New work includes a Bayesian approach to drum tracking. The code and evaluation files are available here on the linked page.
