H610 BEng Electronic Engineering (3 years)

Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology

The BEng Electronic Engineering focuses on digital and analogue circuit design, software applications and microprocessors and control and communications systems. Emphasis is placed on the design of digital circuits and systems using advanced software tools. The first two years are similar to the BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme. In addition you will be taught specialist business modules relevant to technology and engineering industries. You will study very-large-scale integration (VLSI) and digital signal processing (DSP) design in your final year of study.

The MEng programme covers much of the same ground as the BEng programme, at least for three years. Your professional and project skills will be strengthened, particularly in your third and fourth years through group project work. In your final year, you will take specialist advanced Masters modules making you attractive to future employers.
