European Fellowships
The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, welcomes Expressions of Interest by for excellent postdoctoral researchers, of any nationality, to be selected to apply jointly with a QMUL host supervisor to the European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual European Fellowship Scheme under the 2016 call. The Fellowship may last 12-24 months involving an individual research project, integrated with advanced training, professional development and knowledge transfer hosted at QMUL. It offers a highly competitive salary, mobility and family allowances and research costs.

 

Researcher Profile
Candidates are expected to have an excellent CV relative to their career stage, a strong publications record and a good range of experience (teaching, industry/non-academic, PhD supervision).

Eligibility

  • You must not have spent more than 12 months in the UK in the last 36 months prior to the EC call deadline
  • You can be of any nationality
  • You must have a PhD (or equivalent), or four years full time research experience
  • Your research project can be based in any area we cover – see http://www.eecs.qmul.ac.uk/research

Funding

  • Gross salary (€67,127 pa, including the UK country coefficient)
  • Mobility allowance (€600 per month)
  • Family allowance (€500 per month)
  • Research, training and networking costs (€800 per month)
  • Management and indirect costs (€650 per month to the host)

The deadline for applications for the EC (2016) call for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual European Fellowship Scheme is 14 September 2016. You should get in contact with an academic of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science by sending a copy of your CV and one page outlining your research proposal in order to initiate discussions on the proposal.
