IET Faraday Challenge

EECS has regularly hosted one of the national Faraday Challenge competitions. This is a STEM activity that brings together 6 groups of year 8 students to compete solving a real world engineering problem. Student work through the day to produce designs, electronics, presentation. The 2015 competition took place on Tuesday 21st April at the Octagon. This year's theme was 3D printing! The event was so engaging and fun that even the teachers get involved.

This year’s QMUL challenge winners (Southend High School for Boys) scored 89/100, landing them joint 13th place in the national table!
