The School reaches out to the wider community with a number of activities and individual research projects.

• CS4fn - is our flagship online and print magazine for school-age students covering computing and other technologies
• EE4fn - is a sister publication covering Electronic Engineering
• audio4fn - is a new publication focusing on Audio Engineering which is a key research theme of the School

The School has hosted artists on residencies to both Di Mainstone and Rachel Oxley.
