Pakistani Higher Education Commission (HEC) Studentship Funding
The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science offers PhD studentships to Pakistani students in partnership with the HEC programme. We plan to accept up to 5 students per year for students starting in 2016-2020. Applications will be processed quarterly, with deadlines at the end of January, April, July and October. For short-listed candidates, interviews should take place in the following month and decisions communicated by the end of the 2nd month after the deadline.
Project TopicsWe welcome applications in all areas of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science in which we are research-active. Please identify possible supervisors and contact them directly to discuss project ideas (yours or theirs). How to apply
- Contact the supervising academic by e-mail so that an informal discussion can be arranged. You will be asked to provide a CV and personal statement.
- When the academic has agreed to supervise you for the project, please submit an application online via the Queen Mary Admissions Portal (see instructions here).
- If you are successful we will give you an offer on the condition that you are given a funding award from the HEC.
- You need to apply directly to the HEC for funding; this can take place before or after applying to Queen Mary.
