Marco Paladini, who finished his PhD last year, was awarded the BMVA Sullivan prize for his PhD thesis at the BMVC (British Machine Vision Conference) banquet this summer. The Sullivan prize is awarded each year to the best doctoral thesis submitted to a UK University, in the field of Computer Vision. Marco’s PhD was supervised by supervised by Dr Lourdes Agapito, Reader in Computer Vision.
