Pre-event information:

** REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Thu 7 April 2005 **

The ICA Research Network will celebrate its launch with a one-day event on 13th April 2003, at Queen Mary University of London, Mile End Road, London E1 4NS. The event will include talks introducing the network, keynote talks from invited international experts, and opportunity for networking with other members of the network.

Invited international keynote speakers:

Some travel funding will be available for PhD students and other young researchers based in the UK. To apply, see the Travel Support page. [The Launch Day is scheduled to begin at 11:00 to allow as many people as possible to travel to and from the event in one day.]

Posters will be on display describing with work of groups within the Network.

Registration

Thanks to financial support from EPSRC, the event is free, but delegates must register (to plan rooms and catering). Places are strictly limited, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

To register, please the following information in an email to theresa.willis@elec.qmul.ac.uk:

  1. Name (Title, First name, Last name)
  2. University/company affiliation (for badge)
  3. Postal address (including postcode)
  4. Email
  5. Any dietary requirements (vegetarian, etc.)

Venue

The Launch will be held at the People's Palace, Queen Mary University of London (Mile End Campus).

The venue is easily accessible by public transport. It is within a five minute walk of both Mile End Underground station (Central, District, and Hammersmith & City lines) and Stepney Green Underground station (District, and Hammersmith & City lines).
