Biography:
Marcin Grzegorzek, born in 1977, graduated in Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (Poland) in 2002. He wrote his master thesis in the field of medical image processing at the Bavarian Research Center for Knowledge-Based Systems in Erlangen (Germany). In 2002 he was also employed by Siemens Medical Solutions in Erlangen as a part-time programmer. From 2002 to 2006 he worked for the Institute of Pattern Recognition at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, where he received his PhD with distinction in the field of 3D statistical object classification and localization.
Since July 2006 he is Research Assistant at the Queen Mary, University of London and works, in general, on pattern recognition and multimedia analysis.
