The Royal Institution Masterclasses

Ri Engineering and Computer Science Masterclasses are hands-on and interactive extracurricular sessions led by top experts from academia and industry for keen and talented young people all around the UK.

 Christmas Lecture at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, 2016

Each year, we run a series of Royal Institution Masterclasses at Queen Mary for a select group of pupils from Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark. The series is run across six Saturdays during August/September and lectures and activities usually include computer science magic, wearable technology, and natural language processing.
