Kohei Honda's Funeral

As you know, Kohei passed away suddenly on Tuesday December 4th. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday 11 December from 3pm at St Benet's Chapel in Queen Mary, his place of work. The funeral venues have limited capacity, so if you are planning to attend, please inform the organisers. Below is a tentative schedule for the funeral.

3pm - 4pm. Funeral service in St Benet's Chapel at Queen Mary's.

4pm - 5:30 pm. Private cremation for family members only. Arrangements for guests at at Queen Mary's SCR (Senior Common Room) on the first floor in the Queen's building.

From 5:30 pm. Reception at Queen Mary's SCR (Senior Common Room) on the first floor in the Queen's building.

Messages, flowers and gifts. Nobuko would appreciate it if guests could pass some messages to Kohei. Flowers or cards can also be sent to the chapel directly. The mailing address of St Benet's Chapel is: St Benet's Chapel Queen Mary, University of London Mile End Road London E1 4NS.

Photos of Kohei. If you have photos of Kohei, please bring them to the funeral, or email them to the organisers, who will add them to the collection here.

Locations. Queen Mary is most easily reached by underground. The nearest tube stations are Stepney Green Station on the District Line, as well as the Hammersmith & City Line, and Mile End Station on the Central, District and Hammersmith & City Lines. A tube map can be found here; the tube stations are in Sector 7C.
